Terms of service
The deal, in plain words.
Last updated October 28, 2026. These terms apply when you use the OctaneOS dashboard or a website we run for your dealership.
What OctaneOS is
OctaneOS is a dashboard for managing a dealership's inventory, leads, promotions and analytics, plus a website built on it. It is made and run by Designer Digital ("we"). By creating an account or signing in, you agree to these terms on behalf of your dealership.
Your account
- You need a real business email address. The owner of a dealership account decides who else gets access and what they can do.
- Keep your sign in methods safe. Do not share one time codes. If you think someone else is using your account, tell us right away.
- You are responsible for what people you invite do in your account.
Your data is yours
Vehicles, photos, prices, leads and everything else you put into OctaneOS belong to your dealership. We only use it to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can export it at any time, and if you leave we delete it within 30 days.
You promise that you have the right to use what you upload, including vehicle photos, and that the information you publish about a vehicle is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Fair use
Do not use OctaneOS to send spam, to list vehicles you do not have the right to sell, to upload anything illegal, or to try to get into another dealership's data. Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service. We may suspend an account that does any of this.
Payment
Pricing is set out in your agreement with us. Invoices are due when stated on them. If an invoice goes unpaid for more than 30 days we may pause the dashboard and the website until it is settled, after giving you notice.
Availability and support
We work hard to keep OctaneOS up and fast, and we fix problems quickly, but we cannot promise it will never go down. Support is available by email at contact@designerdigital.ca and through the Support page in the dashboard.
Changes to the service
OctaneOS improves often. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something your dealership relies on, we will tell you ahead of time.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We can end the agreement with 30 days notice, or sooner if these terms are broken. Either way, you get your data out first.
Limits on liability
OctaneOS is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost sales, lost data caused by things outside our control, or indirect damages. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and Canada. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Alberta.
