How it works
A website you do not have to think about, and a dashboard you will not mind opening.
Here is the whole thing, from the first call to a Tuesday afternoon six months in.
- 01
A 20-minute call
You show us your current website and how you handle inventory and leads today. We tell you honestly whether OctaneOS fits. Franchise stores locked into a manufacturer program usually are not a fit, and we say so.
- 02
Designer Digital designs your site
Your website is designed and built for your dealership by our studio. Your colours, your photography, your tone. It runs on Next.js and Vercel's global network, which is why it is quick on a phone in a parking lot.
- 03
We connect it to OctaneOS and test it end to end
The site is wired to your OctaneOS account and filled with demo inventory so every page, filter, sold listing and contact form is checked before you ever log in. Then the demo cars are removed.
- 04
You load the lot
Sign in with Google. Type a VIN and the year, make, model, trim and engine fill in. Shoot photos on your phone and upload them; they are resized and compressed automatically. Most dealers have the whole lot in within an afternoon.
- 05
You run it, we keep it running
Price changes, new arrivals and sold cars go live in about a second. Leads land in one inbox. A digest arrives every Monday. When you want the site itself changed, you call us; you never touch code.
Day to day
The dashboard, day to day.
A working model of it. Click into a vehicle, change the price, mark it sold. Move a lead along. Turn a promotion on.

Do I need to know anything about websites?+
No. You use a dashboard that looks like the one on this page. Adding a car is a form. Photos are an upload button. Anything about the website itself, from a new page to a colour change, is handled by us.
How fast do changes show up on my site?+
About a second. When you save, OctaneOS pushes the change to your website directly. There is no nightly feed and nothing to refresh.
What happens when a car sells?+
Mark it sold. It moves to your sold page, keeps its address, and shows a sold badge. Shoppers who land on it from Google see similar cars instead of an error page.
Can I run more than one lot?+
Yes. Locations sit under one dealership account. One dashboard, one website, and a location filter for shoppers.
Who owns the website and the content?+
You own your inventory data, photos and leads and can export them. The website itself is designed for you and hosted as part of your subscription.
What does it cost?+
A one-time design and build fee for your custom website, then one monthly subscription per dealership for the platform, with no long-term contract. We quote it on the first call once we know how many locations and what the site needs.
Is there a mobile app?+
The dashboard is built to work well on a phone, which is where most photos come from. A native app is on the roadmap; we are not selling it until it ships.
