Before and after

Same dealership. Same cars. Different website.

Luxotic Auto Boutique sells exotic and luxury cars by referral and appointment. Their old site was a template. The new one, designed by Designer Digital, looks like the showroom does.

This is the standard every OctaneOS site is built to. The dashboard runs the inventory behind it; the design is done for your lot.

What you get

Everything a lot needs. Nothing an OEM program forces on you.

OctaneOS was built for independent and used car dealerships, where one person often runs the website, the photos and the phones.

Inventory that takes minutes, not evenings

Type a VIN and the year, make, model, trim and engine fill themselves in. Shoot photos on your phone, upload, done. Every image is resized and compressed for you.

Save it here, it is live there

No nightly feed. No ticket to the vendor. A price change, a new listing or a sold car reaches your website in about a second, and the sold page stays up so Google keeps ranking it.

Every lead in one inbox

Contact forms and vehicle inquiries land in the same place with a status, notes and an owner. You get an email the moment it arrives. The customer gets a reply so they know you saw it.

Promotions with an on switch

Deals, new hours, giveaways. Pick where they show, set a start and an end date, scope them to certain vehicles. Nobody has to remember to take the banner down.

Analytics without a cookie banner

Visitors, vehicle views, leads and where they came from, measured without cookies. A digest lands in your inbox every Monday morning.

Sign in with Google, not a sticky note

Everyone signs in with their own Google account or a one-time email code. Owners and admins invite staff, set their role and remove access themselves, and every change is logged with who made it.

Nitro, the assistant that asks first

Ask how anything works and get a plain answer with a link. Say "hide every car over 120 days" and Nitro lines it up on a card. Nothing is saved until you click Do it, and it respects the same roles as the rest of the dashboard.

Built for speed

Fast for shoppers. Fast for the person updating it at 6pm.

Your site is a modern Next.js build served from Vercel's global network, with every vehicle photo pre-sized. The dashboard is quick because it was built by someone who had to use one that was not.

Meet Nitro

An assistant in the dashboard that answers questions and does the work.

Nitro lives in a corner of every page. Ask it how something works and it answers from the OctaneOS guide with a link to the right screen. Tell it to do something, from a single VIN to a change across the whole lot, and it lines the work up on a card. You read the card, you click Do it, and only then does anything change.

  • Answers how-to questions about OctaneOS in plain language, with a link to the right page
  • Scaffolds a vehicle from a VIN, with year, make, model and trim already filled in
  • Sets up automations, like a photos task every time a car is added
  • Does bulk work in one go: price cuts, status changes, hiding aged stock, assigning leads
  • Shows every change on a card first. Nothing is saved until you click Do it
  • Respects roles, so a salesperson cannot see cost or margin through it either

How do I put a car on the website?

Set the status to Available and visibility to Public on the vehicle page, then save. It is live on the site about a second later. Drafts and private cars never show.

Mobile friendly, both sides

Run the lot from the lot.

Most vehicle photos are taken on a phone, so the dashboard was built for a phone first. Shoot, upload, price, publish, all from beside the car. The website your customers see is designed for the same screen, because that is where they are shopping from.

  • Add a vehicle and its photos without going back to a desk
  • Photos are resized on upload, so a 12 MB camera shot does not slow anything down
  • Answer a lead from your pocket the minute it arrives
  • Your site scores well on mobile speed, which Google rewards

Found on Google

When someone nearby searches for a car you have, they find you.

Most dealership websites are invisible on Google. Ours are built from the ground up to show up, and to stay there.

  • Every car gets its own page that Google can find and rank
  • Pages load fast on phones, which Google rewards
  • Sold cars keep their page, so the ranking you earned stays
  • All the technical work behind the scenes is done for you, automatically

Sign in with Google

Google sign-in for everyone. User management for the owner.

OctaneOS uses Google OAuth, so your staff sign in with the Google account they already have. No shared login, no password on a sticky note, nothing to reset. Anyone without a Google account gets a one-time code by email instead.

  • Owners and admins invite staff themselves, from the dashboard, in one click
  • Three roles: owner, admin and member, so a salesperson can add cars but not change billing or the site
  • Remove someone and their access ends immediately, on every device
  • Every change is logged with who made it and when

Compared with the legacy platforms

The big dealer platforms were built for franchise groups. Your lot is not one.

They are mature and OEM-certified, and if you are a franchise store under a manufacturer program they may be the right call. For an independent, most of what you pay for is machinery you will never touch.

Why this exists

“I spent my time at a dealership fighting the software as much as using it. Photos that took an evening to upload. A website that showed cars we had sold on Tuesday. Logins on a sticky note. I am a software engineer, so I built the tool I wanted at that desk.”

Kory Goossens, founder of OctaneOS and Designer Digital

The longer version

How it works

From first call to live inventory in a few weeks.

  1. 01

    We design your site

Designer Digital builds a website that looks like your dealership, not a template with your logo dropped in.

  2. 02

    You load the lot

VIN decode, phone photos, a few fields. Most dealers have their whole inventory in within an afternoon.

  3. 03

    We connect and test

Your site is wired to OctaneOS and checked end to end with demo inventory before you ever log in.

  4. 04

    You run it

Add, price, sell. Read the Monday digest. Call us when you want something changed on the site.

See your inventory on a site that actually looks like your dealership.

A 20-minute call. Bring your current website and we will show you the same lot running on OctaneOS.
